Let’s kick off 2018 with a very special IMRG meeting that will bring together friends, food, and fun designed to remind ourselves why we ride in the first place.
When: Thursday, January 4th – 6:30 pm
Where: Spirit Motorcycles in San Jose
Arrive by 6:30 pm for pizza. The meeting will start at 7 pm, followed by popcorn and a screening of Why We Ride, an absolute must-see documentary for motorcycle enthusiasts.
Come for the meeting, stay for the movie.
Please RSVP here so we know how much food to buy. See you there!

Saturday, December 9th – 9:30 am
Help us deliver holiday joy this year by joining us on our very first annual toy run. We are supporting the Sacred Heart of San Jose by bringing toys to impoverished children in our community this holiday season.
Please tell your friends to come out and join us. All bikes and riders are welcome to join this gift of giving.
Arrive at Spirit Motorcycles by 9:30 am on Saturday, December 9th, and bring an unwrapped toy for a girl or boy.
Toy ideas include:
- Gift cards (iTunes, Amazon, Target)
- Action figures
- Lego play sets
- Skateboards & scooters (and helmets)
- Gifts for teens
Please, no violent themed toys
We’ll roll out around 10 am for a short ride to Sacred Heart in San Jose (at First & Alma).
The irony of having someone named “Wild Bill” teach a safety course is not completely lost on us. But if you know Wild Bill, and you probably do (he’s a very active member of our IMRG chapter) then you know he’s the guy you want next to you on a winding road. And lucky for us, Wild Bill has offered to teach a free, two hour motorcycle safety class on Saturday, November 25th, at Spirit Motorcycles starting at 10 am.
We expect this to be a very fun, informative session designed to give all riders, new and experienced, an increased level of confidence when riding solo or in groups. This class is open to all riders of all bikes so bring a friend.

Friday, November 24th
Because we love to ride and we know holidays can be stressful, we’re going to make a break for Alice’s on Black Friday. This will be a great day to get back on the open road and have lunch together with fellow IMRG’ers and not have to worry about cooking, shopping, or relatives! Hope you can join us.
The ride is free – you’re on your own for food and drinks so bring money and an appetite.
All bikes and all riders are welcome to join us for a stress-free day with a super fun group. The roads are scenic and friendly to new riders and all size motorcycles.
Arrive at Spirit Motorcycles by 10 am, gas tanks full. Kick stands up at 10:30 am.
UPDATE – Added Map Routes (links below)
Please join us this Saturday for our final ride of 2017 as we explore delicious, farm-to-belly destinations and the winding roads in between!
This ride is neither long nor technical, so all riders on all sizes of bikes are encouraged to come out for the fun and the food. Be sure to show up at Spirit Motorcycles at 9:30 am this Saturday, November 11th. Bring a full tank of gas, some spending cash and an appetite because we’ll be stopping at the famous Corralitos Sausage Company for lunch, followed by tasty sweets at the Gizdich Pie Ranch. We should be back at Spirit by early afternoon.
Kick-stands up at 10 am.

See y’all Thursday!
Heads up! Our monthly meetings are moving to a new location but the day and time remain the same (first Thursdays at 7 pm). We will no longer be meeting at the Hick’ry Pit.
Starting this Thursday, October 5th, we will be meeting at Coco’s Bakery Restaurant at 150 E. Hamilton Ave in Campbell. Our Victory riding friends host their club meetings at Coco’s and have been very happy with the food and service.
Check out our Meetup page and RSVP. See you Thursday!
Our brothers and sisters at IMRG Chapter #1950 in scenic Gold Country are hosting a 49er Ride and Poker Run on Saturday, October 14th. It’s a beautiful time of the year to ride through this area steeped in California’s gold rush history. The day will be packed with activities including a group ride (free), poker run ($10 per hand), BBQ lunch ($10), and a raffle with prizes. Registration starts at 9 am, kickstands up at 10 am. Group discounts are also available for hotel rooms if you want to spend the night. Get all the details at http://www.goldcountryimrg.com/.
A quick reminder to all IMRG members that The Distinguished Gentlemans Ride is coming up on Sunday, September 24th so get registered soon and join us. Almost 50,000 riders have already registered to ride in cities all around the world all to help raise money for prostate cancer and men’s mental health.
Classic men and their vintage bikes (or visa versa?), will be the feature of the ride, but ladies are welcome to join. Riders will dress up in their fancy duds to harken the sepia-toned past when riding a motorcycle was referred to as “motoring”.
The two hour ride through the South Bay will make seven stops which will include Santana Row, Los Gatos, Saratoga, and more. The ride will leave from Spirit Motorcycles at 10 am on the 24th, but please arrive early if you plan to ride.
