IMRG Ride Saturday July 14th!

This full day ride promises to be a relaxing and scenic ride south to scenic San Juan Batista for lunch at JJ’s Burgers. After lunch, we offer an optional bonus ride up to Fremont Peak. Those who don’t want to do the bonus ride will head home early. Bring a camera because if the weather is clear, the views should be beautiful.

Noon – Arrive at JJ’s Burgers for Lunch in San Juan Batista
1 pm – Group departs for Fremont Peak bonus ride, others are free sightsee or return home

[Ride around the reservoirs to Watsonville Rd]
[Regroup at the stop sign at Watsonville & Uvas before heading down Watsonville Rd]

IMRG – Big Sur and Nepenthe (day ride)

Saturday, June 23rd / 8:30 am

The grandeur of northern California doesn’t come into view any clearer than riding US 1 in Big Sur. The views are magnificent and roads spectacular. We’ll be stopping for lunch at Nepenthe, a wondrous cliffside eatery surrounded scenery that must be experienced in person. It is amazing. This ride is an intermediate ride, given the switchbacks and traffic next to the dramatic geography that will compete for your attention. Focus on the road, and take in the views when we stop along the way.

Castles, Windmills & Wine! Join San Jose IMRG June 1-3, 2018

We are very excited for this weekend ride to California’s Central Coast with luscious, technicolor landscapes. The roads are magnificent and offer tons of amazing sights to stop and explore. Chillin’ in Chowchilla (full day ride)

Saturday, May 12th

Let’s head south to the lovely town of Chowchilla where the men are men and the sheep are… well, you know the story. Things are pretty chill in Chowchilla, but the roads to get there are scenic and fun to ride. This should be a nice full-day ride, suitable for all riders and bikes of all sizes.

Schedule:

9:30 am – Kick-stands up (Spirit Motorcycles)
11 am – Stop for gas in Chowchilla, stretch legs
11:30 am – KSU
12:30 pm – Arrive in Course Gold

Lunch at Chukchansi Indian Casino – They have several restaurants and a large buffet inside the casino (should make it easy to get fast service). There is also gas available on the casino site. May want to gas up first, then eat.

2 pm – Meet back at the bikes after gas/food
2:15 pm – KSU
3 pm – Stop for gas/rest

Moto Talbott in Carmel Valley (full day ride)

This ride to Carmel Valley will be like sliding down a rainbow because at the end of it there’s a pot of motorcycle gold called Moto Talbott. This little museum is a hidden gem of motorcycle history. Founded by Robb Talbott, co-founder of Talbott Winery, an avid motorcycle enthusiast who spent decades curating this very unique collection. Robb didn’t just collect bikes, he collected stories. Every motorcycle here has a story to tell tell which makes this museum like none other. Trust us, it’s really amazing and you don’t want to miss it. We’ll stop for lunch before the tour at Moto Talbot.

Please bring money for lunch and admission to the museum (tickets are $12).

Big Basin Redwood Run – Lunch at Gayle’s (half day ride)

Spring is in the air so let’s go some oxygen freshly made by our local redwood trees at Big Basin. We love this ride which will be as twisty as it is shady as we ride beneath the canopy of the majestic redwoods. We’ll also stop at the famous Gayle’s Bakery in Capitola Beach where you find some of the very best homemade food and treats in Santa Cruz County. The weather should be epic!
